| Ayrx | Slashdot Games Story | China Bans Gold Farming
Ran across this on MMORPG.com's Aion forums. When I actually stopped to think about it I started to feel bad for the farmers. Haha... I can't imagine what it's like to try and make a living in China. Think it'll have any impact on Aion in the US/EU? Thought I'd post this since not everyone is browsing MMORPG.com Edit: Whoops, didn't notice it was also posted in ChitChat already. Maybe not everyone browses that forum? >_>; Oh well. Discuss! |

It might not immediately make a huge impact on us in the west, and I'm uncertain how effective it will be, but it's certainly a Good thing(tm) to see happen and a step in the right direction. I'm crossing my fingers we'll see the landscape change accordingly to some extent following this legislation. It's certainly going hand in hand with our intended work to keep our western Aion services clean from bots and RMT as well as is possible.
